The Dream
Allow me to take you on a tour of my ultimate dream which is to purchase 5 to 10 acres of land that is the home for Pizzini Kids Foundation Ranch.
As you enter the Ranch you'll notice a large circle drive with a center fountain. I envision this being an ideal spot for food trucks to set up while visitors snack on their treats at picnic tables nearby.
Adjacent to the circle drive, you'll find the PKF Workshop where all of our furniture and home decor pieces are created and built. All of the items made here are set up and sold out of our Hope House just up the pathway.
As you walk up the stairs to Hope House's wrap-around porch, you're welcome to take a seat in one of the rocking chairs or porch swings to enjoy the view of our garden, orchard and PKF Pond. When you're ready to come inside, you'll enter a space that feels more like a home than a store. Walls of shiplap and the smell of cedar fill the space. You'll want to move right in!
Stroll around PKF Pond and you'll discover our Coffee & Beer Tasting Room. Here, patrons can sample delectable refreshments from the countries we work with abroad. Feel free to take a seat at one of the tables outside while enjoying live music on the lawn every weekend.
At the back of the property is our pride and joy: our Residence Hall and Rotunda. This is the transitional home for our young adults that have aged out of the domestic foster care system. Here, we will have counselors that work with these wonderful young folks, helping to guide them into adulthood. Everything from how to pay bills, money management, cooking for yourself, time management, career guidance, finding ways to give back and spiritual leadership will be provided. All of our young adults will be given the opportunity to work at any of the various locations on premise, or they may choose to procure a job offsite. Our main goal will always be to show continued love, hope and support as they transition into successful adult living.
